Denero Williams

During Denero’s formative years he realized the potentials of his singing ability. While obtaining his elementary education, he and his peers often took lunch periods as an opportunity to explore their God-given talents through sing-off competitions. These experiences boosted his

confidence to sing in choirs as lead vocalist, participate in talent shows and render special performances at graduation ceremonies.

High school years seemed to have presented Denero with similar opportunities which further allowed him to expand his horizons by becoming the Praise & Worship leader of the Student Christian Movement. He participated in numerous student functions/talent shows as well as pageants. He has served on the Praise and Worship Team at several churches and is also a part of ‘Sounds of Heaven Ensemble’.

Denero is no stranger to singing and the music ministry. He has ministered to a number of weddings, funerals, banquets and birthday events over the years. His strong and beautiful vocal ability also made him internationally known when he competed against other performers from around the world on the Carnival Cruise Victory Idol Competition in 2005. It was no shock to his family and friends when he surpassed the expectations of the idol judges and became the first Bahamian to win the title of Victory Idol. This experience served as a gateway to pursue and enhance his abilities. As a result, he has become a one of a kind unique and passionate artist whose desire is to see excellence through the arts for the glory of God.

In this year 2012, Denero released his first hit single “Believe”. This is just the initial stage of the vision of what God has placed in his heart. He believes that when the arts of singing and dancing are combined it speaks a language which all can understand.

Although Denero has a love for singing, he also has a deep passion for dance ministry. Denero has inspired and influenced a group of 17 strong youths to become the most anointed liturgical dancers in the Bahamas. In 2005 he led a portion of these great individuals to an international forum in Barbados where they ministered in dance at the Barbados Crop Over Festival-Beyond Dance Concert. He now serves a group of 22 strong at New Move Harvest Ministries International for the kingdom of God and beyond. One of his favorite scripture quotes is Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
