Lynn Terez Davis

Born on the 27th day of July 1974, Terez as she affectionately called was a prayer answered by her parents Bishop Ross and Lady Althea Davis.  After having their sons they desired to have a girl to climax their “be fruitful and multiply” mandate.  Terez, like her brothers,

attended Kingsway Academy Elementary School then continued onto Kingsway Academy High School where she graduated in 1992 as the assistant head girl. Attending this school was a reinforcement of the Christian Values her parents had instilled in her from a small child, and it was here that she began sharing her Christian convictions with her friends thus the nickname “Rezz-alations”.

From a young age, Terez enjoyed writing and acting in short skits with her talented cousin Clint Watson from ZNS television.  While at Kingsway though, she developed even a greater passion for ‘acting’ and became involved with the schools elaborate drama productions headed by Paula Angle-Knowles. After graduation, Terez enrolled in the College of the Bahamas where she obtained an AA degree in Elementary Education but was very unsettled in her decision to become an Elementary teacher so she decided to revisit her passion for the arts. On completion of COB in 1997 Terez left the Bahamas and enrolled in the Theatre Arts Program at Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland.  She left the Bahamas with God given raw talent but it was at this institution she obtained the ‘skills and understanding’ of her craft that would accompany the unmerited ‘anointing of God’ to do what she now does, that is to entertain educate and inspire!  In 2000 Terez returned home from Morgan State University with a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting and the faith that somewhere somehow she would be able to practice her craft and make a career out of it. It has been twelve years since that leap of faith took place and now Lynn Terez Davis know to so many as ‘Dynamite Daisy’, has not only made a career but has also been used by God to impact countless through the arena of clean comedy, music and drama. To date Terez has visited all but 3 islands of the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, Trinidad, Antigua, Canada and the United States. Terez produced her first 12 week Television series on ZNS called “Blowing Up With Dynamite Daisy” and has 5 full length original comedy plays available on DVD.  In February 2012, she recorded her first solo gospel album which was released on July 13th 2012.  She looks forward to one day opening a State of the Arts Theatre facility and Fine Arts School in beautiful Nassau that will attract patrons from the world over.
